Featuring Just Food for Dogs DIY kit

In this blog, we want to show you how we meal prep my food. Mom usually cooks it once every month depends on how much food I have left. We store them in small bags in the freezer and defrost it as we need.
Today we are cooking the Beef & Russet Potato recipe. It is my favorite dish!

Step 1
First, you need a Just food for dog DIY kit. It comes with a bag of powder (to complete the meal) and the recipe. The recipe can also be found
Ingredients:
Ground Beef
Russet Potato
Sweet Potato
Beans
Peas
Carrots
Apple
Beef liver

Step 2
Dice all the vegetables into appropriate sizes. Make sure to leave the skin on for the potatoes, apples, and carrots as it provides good nutrients for us. Also, make sure to get rid of the seeds and stem of the apple.

Step 3
Boiled a big pot of water and add the potatoes in. Cook for 10-15 min or until soft. Drain and soak in ice bath.

Step 4
While waiting for the potatoes to cook, we start cooking the ground beef in another pot. Do not add oil and stir frequently.

Step 5
When the ground beef is half cooked, add in the vegetables (carrots, apples, peas, beans) and stir frequently.

Step 6
Once the mixture is cooked. Let cool.

Step 7
Combine the mixture with potatoes in a big bowl. Make sure you don't drain the liquid from the beef mixture. Mix well and let cool.

Step 8
Once the mixture is cooled, add in the Just food for dog DIY blend powder according to the recipe. Mix well.

Step 9
Now we divide the food into ziplock bags. Each bag contains 6 days' worth of food. It is recommended that the food stays in the fridge for no longer than 7 days. After you divide the food, put them in the freezer.

Step 10
Store the food inside the freezer. When you need it, take out one bag and defrost it overnight in the fridge.
